So finally could not wait to get New balance 880v4 . Got it today during lunch and took it for the Hill training class today. Oh before I go into details I actually figured out I don;t need 2E and now I am sure all my complaints about 890v4 are due to wrong size and not the shoe.
So out of the box I could notice the cushioning difference when compared to New Balance 890v4. It made all the landings so comfortable. It does feel like you are wearing a shoe when compared to 890v4. 880v4 is tad big heavy than 890v4.
So I still like New balance 880v4 especially the cushioning part of it, and they say it is lighter than 880v3 but I cannot tell that at least not worn the old shoes for a while.
Now I am really not sure if I can alternate between 2 shoes, I have to change the Garmin foot pod each time. Which is not a hassle but I am not sure if the snug fit pod will wear out each time I remove and put it back.
We did our regular hill training course, it was good run the hills always suck as usual. I dont know If I will every like this part. Here is how the run was.
